Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information HifiFood ("we", "us") collects from restaurant owners and admins who sign up for and use the platform, and how we use it. It does not cover the privacy practices of individual restaurant storefronts toward their own customers — each restaurant tenant publishes its own customer-facing privacy policy on its storefront.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
• Restaurant information: business name, chosen subdomain, and billing contact details.
• Usage data: log data such as IP address and browser type, used for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
• Billing records: plan tier, payment status, and payment history you or we record for your account.

2. How we use this information

• To create and operate your restaurant's storefront and admin panel.
• To send account-related emails: signup confirmation, trial and billing reminders, and support communications.
• To detect and prevent abuse of the signup process, including rate limiting and CAPTCHA verification.
• To provide customer support when you contact us.

3. Email communications

Account, billing, and trial-related emails are sent from support@aimnexus.ai. This is also the default sending address for your restaurant's own order and reservation emails to your customers unless you configure your own mailbox in Admin → Settings → Email.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (e.g. our email delivery provider, CAPTCHA provider), or when required by law.

5. Data retention

We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution needs.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information at any time by contacting support. Deleting your account will suspend your storefront and admin panel.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections and secure password storage. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform.
